How The Sound Inspired Me - Peter Sello Maluleke
About the author Peter Sello Maluleke is a newly born author who has impacted young minds for the past five years by working as a facilitator, encouraging them to become better citizens through life skills and music. He discovered his talents and enthusiasm for storytelling while pursuing methods to enhance his communication and writing skills, something that he believed he needed to be effective at a higher level in his work. He developed the concept of “How the Sound Inspired Me” to practice writing and improve as an artist. As an advocate for change, he participated in various foreign exchange programs, which inspired him to begin writing. Growing up in a semi-rural area and dusty township where hope is far from success, someone who obtained the experience of working abroad in Europe (Norway and the USA) dedicates the narrative to young readers with the goal of demonstrating to them that preserving focus is of the utmost importance if you’re hoping to accomplish what you desire regardless of every obstacle. He also advises parents to allow their children to explore their own abilities while supporting them along the way.

Whilst in the forest in Masubye known as Pankop, Thabo was disturbed from his peace by a melodic whistling sound. This unique whistle became stuck in his head. In the days that followed, Thabo returned and each day he heard the whistle until the source of the whistling revealed itself, a thrush with a long tail. Each day Thabo returned and each day the thrush became friendlier until it left the forest to follow Thabo home. They became friends and make music together forming the band T’squared.
